The book ‘Before We Was We’ detailing the early years of the members of Madness was released on hardback book on 10th October 2019. The audiobook, narrated by the band, was released a week later.
Each chapter includes a track taken from the ‘Fab Toones’ rehearsal tape from 1979, included as bonus tracks on the 35th Anniversary reissue of One Step Beyond… (2014)
A new track ‘Before We Was We’ is also included
A 3-part TV documentary was released on YouTube starting 1st May 2021
