Labels
Variant 1

Label profile: 62mm lip, 32mm ring
Lacquer cut by Denis ‘Bilbo’ Blackham at Tape One, London W1, pressed by CBS, Aston Clinton
Runouts – any combination of A7, A8, A9, A10 and B7, B8:
A-Side: HIT TV-1-A7 BILBO.TAPE ONE ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY! / HIT.TV-1-A8 BILBO.TAPE ONE ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY! / HIT·TV-1-A9 BILBO.TAPE ONE ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY? / HIT-TV ·1_A·10 BILBO.TAPE ONE (different to variant 2, the MPO A10)
B-Side: HIT TV.1-B.7 BILBO.TAPE ONE THEN WE’LL BEGIN. / HIT-TV-1-B8 BILBO.TAPE ONE THEN WE’LL BEGIN
Also:
A-Side: HIT-TV·1.A.13 B / B-Side: HIT.TV.1.B.10 A (different to variant 2, the MPO B10)
CBS B10 has a slightly longer gap between ‘Grey Day’ and ‘Take It Or Leave It’. It also includes ‘Goodnight’ after ‘The Return Of The Los Palmas 7’.
There is also an early pressing:
A-Side: HIT·TV-1-A4 A ARE YOU COMFORTABLE / B-Side: HIT-TV-1.B4 C THEN WE’LL BEGIN
This version is different to the main pressings above:
The gaps between songs are up to 5 seconds longer; ‘Shut Up’ is 30 seconds longer (a slightly sped-up version of the 7″); ‘Night Boat To Cairo’ plays slightly quicker and also fades out 15 seconds later; ‘Take It Or Leave It’ fades out 15 seconds earlier; ‘In The City’ fades out 7 seconds earlier.
These seem to be fairly rare. My version came with an A4 press pack in a folder.
Variant 2
